All First Place Winners will be published in the 1st Ebooks Midsummer Madness, Anthology
to be published in the summer of 2005 and winning authors will be paid a nominal fee for anthology rights.

All entries must be postmarked or emailed by May 1, 2006
All entries must include a signed official entry blank available at the bottom of this page or from www.ebooksonthe.net and the entry fee.
Signed Official Entry blanks for electronic submissions should be faxed to 1-410-221-7510. The story files should be e-mailed as an attachment in .rtf or .txt format to publisher@ebooksonthe.net with the words "contest entry" in the subject line.
Mailed submissions on paper must also be accompanied by a disk with the story saved in .rtf or .txt format. Both electronic and paper submissions should include a cover page with the name and address of the author and title of the story. This page will be removed before judging. Page headers should include only the TITLE, not the author's name.
All stories must be original in content, created by the entrant, and previously unpublished in anthology form. Entry in the contest constitutes permission to publish electronically, one time rights in anthology form. All other rights remain with the author. Stories longer than 5000 words, or any submitted via regular mail without a CD copy will be disqualified.
Payment can be by check, money order, or credit card. Electronic submissions permitted if entry fee is paid via Pay Pal or by Credit Card. Entrants outside the U.S.A. should choose these methods.
